Avengers, Age of Ultron

PG-13
The much anticipated sequel! I was a bit dubious, judging by the trailer, with it being another epic city battle I thought it was going to be much of a muchness with the last one.  I was pleasantly surprised.  Even though the epic fight scene was fairly similar, the plot was still fresh and held my attention all the way through.  It seems from the ending and the teaser after the credits that they’re going to be heading in a new direction for the next one, which will be a welcome change.
I enjoyed that they went into more depth with certain of the characters, allowing us to get to know them a little better and develop more of a rapport.
Apart from the violence, which I think most children are desensitised against nowadays anyway, I wouldn’t think there was much cause for concern for the younger audience, apart from the attention span and the toilet breaks you will inevitably have, given the length of the movie.  There is even a reference and running joke about bad language in the movie, which I quite enjoyed.
All in all a most enjoyable watch, well worth it
