Festive season lag

Things are so hectic during December what with all the school concerts and the run up to Christmas shopping!  I really need to find time to work on some editing and writing as I promised myself that I would do one photo book a month! The Beveridge Family is the next one up to bat but there is a lot of work involved as it is the demo for the BIG book! :)  Im looking forward to doing Teri's Engagement shoot in December, a run up to the very nerve wrecking wedding shoot next year!! I'm also waiting for Jessica to pop so I can do the new born shoot to follow up on the lovely preggie shoot we did in the park :) I need a clone people!!! LOL

Phoebe's kittens

My Manx cat, Phoebe, gave birth to 5 kittens yesterday.  They are so cute and incredibly tiny and a very good opportunity to practice my photography!

She started labour at about 4 and eventually had the last one at about 8.30pm.  The Manx ones are quite valuable as I sold one from  her last litter for £200! His sister sold for £140 and they helped contribute to my camera.  I have been waiting with anticipation for this litter to see if I can add to my equipment with a nice new lens! lol

Imagine my frustration when only one out of the 5 is a proper Manx! Typical!  There is one that has a very short tail so that will probably be quite rare and the little white one, even though she has a tail has such unusual colouring that I'm sure she will be snapped up.  The best part is they will all be ready just in time for Christmas.  I found this rather strange as I have never heard of cats having kittens this time of the year but there you go, Santa loves me! :)
